The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified.

3. Hosting

The public website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The website's administration interface, the database containing posts, contact enquiries and comments, and uploaded images and documents are located on a server operated by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. Both data centres are located in Germany.

The hosting providers process data exclusively on our behalf; data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with both providers. Hosting is based on our legitimate interest in a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online services (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).

Server log files

The hosting providers automatically collect and store information in server log files which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Hostname of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a technically error-free presentation and in the security of the website).

4. Contact form

If you send us enquiries via our contact form, the information you provide (name, email address, optionally phone number and subject, and your message) is stored in our database and forwarded by email to our office for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. If you select the option "Send me a copy of this message", you will additionally receive a confirmation at the email address you provided. We do not share this data without your consent.

For sending emails we use Microsoft 365 provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Microsoft processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

To protect against automated spam submissions, the form checks technical characteristics of the submission, such as the time between loading the page and sending the form. Your IP address is processed briefly for this purpose in order to limit the number of requests per sender. It is not stored permanently.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR insofar as your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) in the effective handling of enquiries sent to us.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you request its deletion or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

5. Blog comments

If you comment on a post in our blog, we store the name you provide, the text of your comment and the time it was created. Providing an email address is optional; it will not be published and is used only for queries regarding your comment. Comments are reviewed and approved by us before publication.

Storage is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR), which you give by submitting the comment. You may withdraw this consent at any time and request the deletion of your comment by email to info@golfclub-dresden.de. The comment and the associated data remain stored until you request deletion or we remove the comment.

6. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set any cookies. No analytics, tracking or advertising services are used.

To display the current course status and opening hours, your browser retrieves this information from our server and stores it for a short time in your browser's local storage (localStorage). No personal data is stored in the process. This storage is technically necessary to provide the function (Section 25 (2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG).

7. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server. No connection to servers of Google or other font providers is established when the page is loaded.

8. External links

Our website contains links to third-party websites, for example to our partners and partner hotels, to flyover videos of the holes and to Google Earth. When you click on such a link, you leave our website. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on the linked pages, and its privacy policy applies. Third-party content is not loaded automatically on our website.

You have the right at any time to receive free information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to:
